High grade silicone pump fluid designed for high vacuum applications. The vapor pressure and back-streaming rate of the fluid are so low that the use of traps or refrigeration’s is unnecessary for many applications. The fluid is used in all types of diffusion pumps and oil booster pumps. The chemical structure of the silicone making it very resistant to oxidation and hydrolysis at diffusion pumps operating temperatures. The chemical resistance gives the silicone fluid long life under adverse vacuum conditions. It does not react with metals, elastomers or normal gases found in vacuum systems. It is particularly suited to pump large quantities of oxygen gas in high speed pumps. It offers minimal back-streaming, cleaner vacuum systems and less maintenance and fluid replacement.
